Not too long ago an ActiveRain member asked if I would help her niece find a rental here in the Raleigh area. Now I normally don't handle rentals, but this member has become a loyal subscriber to my blog and, more importantly, a good friend. So, I told her I would be happy to help. A few weeks later, my AR buddy came on down for a visit. She fell in love with the Raleigh area and asked me take her to look at some homes. One of the places we visited met all of her very particular needs! We wrote an offer, it was accepted that day, and just the other day we closed on the home!
Not only did I make a friend here in the Rain, I also made a neighbor!
The power of the Rain never ceases to amaze me!

Not too long ago, I had buyers who needed a good agent to list their home in the Greensboro, NC area. One of my ActiveRain buddies immediately came to mind. Well, he got the listing and, a week or so later, he called me back. His opening statement to me was , "It's time to return the favor!".
He put me in touch with an asset management company who had two new construction foreclosures that needed to be sold. I listed them both and within a month's time we closed on both of them!

Recently an ActiveRain member was looking for an agent in the Raleigh area who would be interested in listing a home for his client. He found me by reading one of my blog posts. According to him, when he got done laughing and was able to compose himself (my blogs tend to be on the silly side!) he called me. We hit it off right away and the next thing I knew the referral form was in my mailbox! The home I listed was absolutely gorgeous and within 3 weeks we had an accepted offer!
