This morning I wrote about what a terrific view I woke up to.  This evening I'm letting you know "It's a Wrap", morning to evening.  What a great day.  The weekend is supposed to be spectacular.  If you have the opportunity, this would be a terrific weekend to come up and see my town.

When you wake up in Estes Park, you know it's going to be a "Special Day".  The two most common sayings in Estes Park are - It's another beautiful day in Paradise!  and If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

If you haven't seen the elk rut in Estes Park, you are missing the show of a lifetime.  The bulls are not as active as they have been, but there are a few diehards that are protecting their herd of cows.  Pictured here is a 7x7, for you "Easterners" that would be a 14 point bull elk. 

Traffic Jam?  There are a lot of communities and cities in our country that have traffic issues.  Often times you will find yourselves sitting in traffic waiting for what?  Well, here in Estes Park, Colorado we know what we are waiting for, and we don't mind waiting.
