Newburgh NY was not the worst hit during Hurricane Sandy. It is hard to imagine from this photo that a Hurricane passed through the area only a few days ago. News reports still paint a very grim picture of the aftermath. Newburgh faired much better than NYC did and is well on the way to recovery.
