The pond at the Wynton M. Blount Cultural Park, home of the Shakespeare Festival theaters, is the gathering place for ducks, geese, cranes and egrets. I approached the pond shortly after one of the greenskeepers had put out feed for them. I wouldn't say the ducks were tame but they weren't timid....
