If you’ve ever lived in Florida or South Georgia and are familiar with love bugs, this title might well leave you saying…huh? But yes, serendipity is involved because of these love bugs. For those of you who have never had the pleasure of “love bug season”, they are small black flying insects o...

Real Estate Schools sometimes give pre-licensing students a grim view of the profession they are about to enter. I clearly remember more than one instructor informing the class that “Buyers are Liars…and so are Sellers”. Do you think there is truth in that statement? Until the last couple of da...

A favorite past-time of my family is to visit used bookstores. My mother loves to go to Franklin, NC when she visits here because of the Macon County Friends of the Library Used Bookstore. It’s located in the Shops of Riverwalk on the road to Highlands. Every penny earned from the bookstore is ...

Actually, I did get some photos of the historic Riverwalk in Montgomery, AL and I will be sharing them eventually but in the meantime…meet Copenhagen. Mom and I first saw Copenhagen in downtown Montgomery along with his owner Matt. Matt is a soldier stationed somewhere around Montgomery for spe...

Mom has Sirius Radio, so we jammed away listening to music from the 50s and 60s the whole time. We stopped when we needed to stretch and tried not to stress too much when it looked like we'...

Okay, this is out of the ordinary for me.  I flew out of Asheville, NC yesterday through Atlanta (traveling probably 12 miles in the airport to find the right gate for the connection) and on to Tampa, FL.  My brother Marlon picked me up in his very snazzy red dodge truck and we drove to St. Pete....

Today is very exciting, I’m leaving for a trip in a few hours. Before I left though I wanted to transfer the photos from my camera and phone to a flash drive...just because.  Scanning through photos is always interesting…some were in the category of “I wonder what I saw there” and after channel...

Yep, Nellie made me cry but I'm reblogging her post anyway!  When I decided to morph a different music on Mondays group into the present Monday Melodies group, it was my hope that people would post videos and tell why that particular piece of music moved them.  I think we can learn a great deal a...
