Rumors of the demise of the real estate market have been greatly exaggerated. In my part of the world ... Paradise ... things seem to be picking up steam. Buyers appear and homes are selling, sometimes within a week, and sometimes even with multiple offers. I'm hearing rumblings around my office about buyers losing out on homes that have been languishing on the market for months ... only suddenly to be the hottest property on the market. Buyers DO still believe that showing a filthy mess of a home for sale is despicable -- even if it is bank owned. ---- Clean it and they will come.
