During my first few years as a blogger, I attended Inman Connect in New York. It was interesting, fun and a great way to meet many of my Active Rain blog buddies.
A lot of the information was great, but at some point, at least for me, it became overload. They featured many sessions dealing with the future of real estate, focusing on interesting alternative business models that didn't quite take off. There were many ideas, including the use of video for blogging, that people took and did really, really badly. At the same time, there were technology ideas and products that wowed me and that i use in my day-to-day real estate practice.
If you are looking for ways to make the best of a combination of old and new strategies for attracting clients, a trip to an Inman Connect is certainly worthwhile. Hmmmm. Maybe I'll go back to New York in January!
