Of all the solutions I've looked at, Evernote lives well on the most platforms. In my business life I have computers running Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Linux, a Blackberry Playbook, Blackberry Bold 9900, Blackberry Z10 and a Samsung Note 10.1 Tablet running Android 4.1. If I'm doing a house tour for a client at home or at the office and save it in Evernote, I can access it from either phone or tablet during the tour. When I need to capture something that can be quickly emailed, saved to a file or just something that captures my interest in a magazine or book that I can't take with me. For example if I am in a Dr.'s office, quite a few times I have seen an interesting article and I have snapped it into Evernote to refer to later. The fact that you can alphabetize or organize these "notes" how you like, makes it extremely easy to find them later. At some point I am going to start putting all of my client's files into Evernote, pictures and all. This way on my IPAD it will make all of my work virtually paperless. See Less

Emails are fine but this program is a means of documenting all events that have taken place and it provides a great means of tracking what else still needs to be done. Having the ability to record notes is an additional benefit for taking notes on the go. The one feature that I like the most is the sync feature so I can update from my phone or on a computer and the record can be viewed from any devise that I may use. We love it for its simlicity of use. We can take photos, imbed audio, and look up a location of where we were when the note was created. And available on all our mobile platforms and PCs!

I use it for business & personal use, and very shortly after discovering it, I upgraded to the paid version.... I needed more room. I love that I can take pics of contracts and place them in a file for clients to access when I am unable to get to a scanner right away. I have a file for work receipts, mileage, business connections, clients, and just about everything else. I highly recommend trying the free version, and if you like it half as much as I do, upgrade (I think it was only $45). Well worth it! See Less

With Evernote you have a single location (i.e., repository) of all the information you can bring together: text memos, voice recordings, scanned documents, emails, websites, .pdf files. It truly is amazing. Evernote can be loaded on your desktop/laptop, iPad, android Pad, and iPhone or android smart phone. Everything you load into Evernote is stored on their servers and once your information is synced with Evernote's database it's available to you on all your devices. You can voice record a meeting with your client in their home using your smart phone, sync the file, and have it available on your laptop at the office when you get back. You can do page captures off the web to Evernote. You can store pictures (i.e., copies of all your receipts photographed with your smart phone). You can create notes directly in Evernote. You can send emails to Evernote and store them there. Evernote supplies you with a special email address so that you can email any and everything directly into your Evernote. However, the real power of Evernote is it's search engine capability. It quickly finds any note by simply typing the note's title in the search field. If you purchase the premium version (about $50/year), Evernote will also make the contents of .pdf searchable. Say you scanned your favorite recipe as a .pdf and it has the term "2 cups sugar" somewhere in the recipe. In Evernote you can search for "2 cups sugar" and Evernote will find the recipe for you. So last week I had read an article where an iPad instructor recommended the most important apps to have and Evernote was on the list so I thought why not! I can say I am in love as it is a wonderful product. I can take notes, leave myself a voicemail, take a photo, or even make a video. Then I can move these messages, videos, notes to other devices like my computer or my phone. Frankly it probably has even more features that I haven't discovered yet. I highly recommend everyone getting Evernote and the app was FREE and that makes it even better. I wish I had found Evernote sooner! See Less

I have downloaded Evernote to all my devices and jumped in with both feet. Every document I need is now at my disposal, records of every transaction, even email history - all in their nice, neat, labeled notebooks and easy to find. If you need to access, create, change and share documents wherever you are, this is a tool real estate agents should not do without. See Less
