This is one of my secret weapons. I started using it earlier this year as a way to reward agents/referral partners and past customers for referring business to us.
It's very cost effective. You can get a gift card for $10 that is worth $25 or for $20 you can get a $50 card, so it's efficient (there are other denominations, too). You are paying a little, but the perception is that you are paying a lot, so it goes very far.
It's also easy to do and you can do electronically from your computer. You can either have it mailed or emailed to your customer.
