For Business Cards, I use gotprint.com, they are quick, reasonably priced (think $35 for 1000 cards).
The biggest bonus is that I can pick and choose from a range of options, shape, paper quality, finish (I don't like gloss, you can't write on it), just all the little things that takes this card from being one in a stack, to a representation that sticks with clients.
I know, they say image marketing is dead, forgive me, but I don't agree. I firmly believe that if you prevent yourself to a client as someone who just got your first business card, you're at a huge disadvantage against someone who looks like they have been in and know the business.
Naturally, the big problem with gotprint.com, you need to know what got area ordering - do yourself a favor and order a sample pack of their papers, then you know what your options are.
