Not happy with Happy Grasshopper. I have been using them for a few years now. I even tried Position Me for a few months, which was not cheap, and didn't see any return on my investment. I canceled it and went back to the free service, since I send fewer than 100 messages. Then on August 10, I got an "account update" email from Russell Fama followed by an unsigned, curt email that my account had been canceled, so I replied to it and left a voicemail that I still wanted the free account.
Yesterday I got another Russell email (signed by someone else) plus another brusque, unsigned message that my service was back. Attached was an invoice showing that my credit card had been charged $19.
If you have more than 100 contacts, your mileage may vary. But I'm going to call and cancel this time for good. That is not the way to run a business, especially the kind of business Happy Grasshopper is in. I might have been willing to pay $19 a month for formerly free service, but not when they spring it on me like this.
I'm giving three stars, and I'll update my review if the situation changes.
