I have used Pixlr for desk top review. It is a good product for image processing, arrangement of photos. sharing. What I am trying to determine what it is worth in mobile application as I have skipped the use of an iPad. If I can find a trial version for smart phone I will be in the position to give a better rating. The subscription fees are reasonable for short use. But I rather buy the full product like Photoshop. This is what other reviewer said about the product : Import/Export Compare 6.3/10 (max is 10 meaning flawless, perfect) Where Pixlr’s strong points are its image and photo editing tools and features, its weak points are in its import and export options. Pixlr has limited upload capabilities, requiring users to have an images saved to their hard drive before they can be uploaded. And, as for exporting, finished images can only be saved to the hard drive, requiring users to use additional email, photo-sharing and social-networking services to share them. Ease of Use Compare 10/10 Pixlr is an intelligent, intuitive program that manages to offer an array of complex tools in a straight-forward easily-understood manner—and this is only the interface. The image editing and design process is equally straightforward and never requires users to navigate between tabs and wait for new toolsets to load. All effects, filters, layer tools etc., are a drop-down scroll away from being accessed and can be viewed or removed easily using the movable History bar. Help/Support Compare 8.8/10 All online image editing programs, like image editing software programs, have a learning curve that requires either extensive time and trial or a body of resources to expedite use and comprehension. For Pixlr’s part, it offers a fairly-detailed, topically-organized FAQ section, a blog for program updates and announcements and an email account to contact Pixlr to give feedback. Much of the remaining help information is directed towards potential partners and programmers. Pixlr Summary: 9.1/10 When it comes to online image creation and design and photo editing, Pixlr is among the best, offering users a unique blend of tools and features to craft and polish images and photos from virtually anywhere with a proper Internet connection and browser-type. However, given the role that photo-sharing and social-networking sites like Flickr and Facebook are playing in contemporary Internet culture, Pixlr takes a slight step backwards for failing to include many of the commonplace integrations used by other online image editing programs to make imports and exports to and from these sites simple and seamless.
