I like iMovie as it is an easy-to-use and powerful movie editing program. The earlier versions were quite lame but the latest versions have a lot of bells and whistles that make it a very useful editing app. I have seen the videos that other folks have produced and they are really good. I have used professional software and for the novice, iMovie does a descent job and produces excellent quality stuff. Mac users are demanding and they expect more from Apple than the mindless masses from the PC world.
