As mentioned in the title, I have been using a Market Leader website since August of 2010. They came to Raincamp and had a large part on the program. I cringe everytime I see their billing come through. I spent nearly an hour on the phone with them today but got no satisfaction. The following is a list of the things I do not like about it: * I have 70 listings. It appears that their "Featured Listings" application should work for me. However, I was told that there is a BUG that keeps the Agent photo and the listing photos from showing up. I was unable to get a commitment on how much of a priority it is to get the BUG Fixed. This is a really BIG deal to me because I cannot capitalize on the number of listings I have. * When I do get a "lead" from Market Leader, I get a message on my cell phone that tells me to "log into Market Leader" to view the message. It is usually not convenient to log in to Market Leader to learn more. I was told that this issue would be submitted as an "improvement." I have to believe a more meaningful message would be IMPORTANT to every subscriber to Market Leader websites. * I have made a HUGE investment in other websites promoting what I do and showing neighborhood information. There are no good ways to get visitors to my other materials from my Market Leader website. * Actually, IT IS NOT MY WEBSITE at all. The domain belongs to Market Leader. I assume it will be "sold" to another agent as soon as I quit paying for it. * I have a few prospects who are currently using my website and a handful of them look like they might actually do something. So far I have closed two transactions that connected with me via Market Leader. * I am in the process of switching my efforts to FlexIDX. I think I will try to get my Market Leader prospects switched over to FlexIDX. I think I will have to continue to pay for Market Leader until I can make that switchover happen.
