If I wasn't an iPhone user I would definitely put the Samsung Note 10.1 at or near the top of my list as phone of choice. The smart phones these days are so much more than phones - web browser, text application, calendar reminders, purchasing Verifly insurance for aerial drone operations, it's a very lengthy list and there are very few if any tasks you can't do on a smart phone that you can only do on a desktop or laptop computer. The only limitation is visibility due to the size of the screen.

Yes, it is sufficient to say - it is just right to get this tablet for you.
Yes, it may not have a craze of any of the Apple products - but Samsung 10.1 Tablet is one of the best tablets. Price-wise - it will be mid-range and not as expensive as iPad - or in this era, something you can survive with or excel with. Quick one sentence opinion -
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is a decent tablet at a time when good options in the $200-$400 range are harder to find.

I have always loved this 'travel companion' - one of the high end tablet with excellent resolution for sure.
Samsung has a great line of electronic devices - and when it comes to tablet, Note 10.1 is one of the best options.
In fact, it competes with iPad - the Apple's best product - and compares in price, too.
So, look for bargain (I have not seen much, though) when you are ready to buy this one of the best tablet by Samsung.

in 2014 the note 10.1 was a really good tablet. I used one for about 6 months and found it did everything i needed it to. I upgraded to another samsung tablet and it wasnt as good as the 10.1, so i give this product a 5 star review. Even now although it is outdated, its still a good cheap tablet to pick up used.

My review title may not tell you much, but here's my reasoning. I had a Blackberry phone for years. In February 2013, I took a leap and got a Samsung Galaxy smartphone. The touch screen was something to get used to. When I decided in August that I needed a tablet, I decided to go with a Samsung because I knew the learning curve would easier.
I am not proficient with the tablet, but it's better than lugging my laptop around, and it's great for looking up homes on the fly when I'm out with clients.
I would recommend it, particularly for folks that have a Samsung smartphone!

This is a great tablet mostly for the OS and the interface. Those looking for something with more customization than iPad should adopt this Android tablet. It's light, feels sturdy in your hands and is sleek. It has app support from everything on the Play store and beyond and the HD display really is tremendous. Watching videos on this device is nice and the colors are vibrant. Once my old generation iPad kicks it I am switching to the Samsung Note.

The Samsung Note 10.1 is part of the U.S. Cellular carrier system. It's a fine tablet with a bright touchscreen. The operating system is the Android 4.1.2 Jellybeean OS and it also comes with a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera and a 5.0 megapixal rear facing camera. It's very light weight weighing in at only slighlty more than 21 ounces. I think you'll like it.

I had my iPad3 for a year. I just found it to be clunky and not very user friendly. (I have been an Android user for years.) My wife was using the iPad also and we found ourselves wanting to get a second tablet. Since I wasn't real happy with the iPad we decided to get the Galaxy Note as the spare pad. To me it is like night and day. The Galaxy is so much easier to navigate, and allows me to do so much more. I find it to be more user friendly and intuitive to use. It also has speakers on the front and not on the back. The ability to have more than one screen open is also a terrific plus.
What the Galaxy lacks and that the iPad has, is what I call, snob appeal. I have to admit that when I am meeting a client for the first time and want to make a good impression, I have grabbed the iPad for that first meeting, but after that when work needs to be done, it is the Galaxy I grab.

I've played around with the Samsung Note 10.1 and it has some really cool features and certainly it's a nice product, but still prefer my iPad. I suppose Samsung vs Apple will be like the Microsoft vs Apple battles for yore or perhaps the Google vs Facebook battle that is going on concurrently. I suppose I just like Apple as they focus on making quality products that are very consumer-friendly.

With it's 4G speed on the road or use of WiFi when available, this tablet has been a great addition to our business. Really handy to use when out with our buyers, we've used it to look up home details, show buyers what the aerial shot of a new construction plat looks like while talking with the builder's rep, and yes, we've even sold a home with 4 weeks of buying our tablet. With buyers in Georgia, we used Skype video messaging to stream a live home tour. They liked the home, offered on it and we're closing next month. So this tablet will already be providing a 600% return on investment and we're just getting started. Without that visual stream tour, the buyers would have been renting a home instead of buying.
And since its Droid based, download you're favorite Droid apps. Screen is crystal clear too!
