Yep, Surface is the best product so far, from Microsoft.
They were ahead of time when they skipped the rat-race of Apple and Samsung - and something 'good' was cooking in Microsoft kitchen - SURFACE.
Now already in the 4th generation, Surface made a big splash the day it arrived.
A perfect combination of touch screen and Windows familiarity makes this product user-friendly. Nothing new to learn and now, one can touch the screen.
Comes with keyboard and mouse that can be attached to this 'SURFACE'!
One review of 5-star may not be sufficient as I share some more features - time-permitting.
Surface - the best Microsoft shared with the world!

For those that prefer Windows this appears to be a good choice. Personally I prefer the Mac platform, which means I have a Mac Book Pro Lap Top, an iMac Desk Top, an iPad 2, and iPad Mini 4, and an iPhone 6 Plus. All automatically sync when information is updated on any of the devices. Makes things very simple and up to date. And for displaying on a larger screen there is always the Air Play function.

As I was needing a laptop for the employees for field use, I had investigated all kinds of tablets and different brands. I did like the Surface because it's like a mini, transportable and fully functioning computer. The camera is good and the ability for the employees to be able to complete their filed reports and send them to the cloud server was important. After you get used to the new idea of 'tiles' instead of apps and the (Yeech!!!) 8.1 operating system and some of the little nuances of the touch screen, it is a decent computer for the money.

I had investigated all kinds of tablets and different brands. I decided on the Surface because it's like a mini very transportable fully functioning computer.
The camera is terrific, the ability to have all of office at my fingertips and use it in the cloud, not to have to worry about 'flash' problems that you have on apple products, and our MLS still really doesn't function as well on ipads.
After you get used to the new idea of 'tiles' instead of apps, the fact that you have to get used to 8.1 operating system, and some of the little nuances of the touch screen, it's really superior.
I'd recommend it but only to people who are already fairly computer astute, who don't get frustrated right away with new programs, new ways of doing thing

I have the Surface RT.
I really like it.
I like that it came with outlook, office, etc.
But I don't like that App developers don't seem to be rushing to add this format to their mobile / tablet apps being offered.
Maybe with time, but I have work to do.
I like the product but need the apps for work.
Now, I can go to the website, and work from the websites. Its just that app may be a much better format for my Tablet.
Lets push for more Realtor Apps on the Microsoft Surface RT

I decided it might be a good idea to have a windows based laptop, and the Surface looked pretty interesting. So I borrowed one from a friend. While there is a lot to like about the Surface, I wasn't comfortable with the feel of the keyboard. Now, my guess is you could use some other blue-tooth keyboard-case combination (I have one for my iPad, which greatly enhances it's functionality), but the cool looking keyboard that comes with it is part of the appeal. For now, I think I'll hold off.

Not a bad tablet if you are a fan of the new Windows 8 OS/ tiled display. It makes navigating from app to app very quick. IT doesn't have near the amount of customization as an Android OS, making it limited in several areas. One notable area is large social networking presence. There are several apps that are watered down versions of their Android and iOS counterparts, which can lead to frustration. Suggested for fans on Windows.
