Certifications
After 20 years of building and remodeling North Texas homes and businesses, Aaron became a full-time home inspector in 1997. Since then he has inspected over 5,000 properties in his 10,000 square mile service area. Aside from performing residential and light commercial inspections, Aaron is actively engaged in working as an expert witness in cases involving building inspections and inspectors.
As a former and currently registered builder and active member in the Building Officials Association of Texas Aaron is a leading expert in residential new construction. He is certified by the International Code Council (the organization that authors the building codes in this nation) as a Residential Combination Inspector which encompasses the following certifications: Residential Building Inspector, Residential Electrical Inspector, Residential Plumbing Inspector, and Residential Mechanical Inspector. Additionally, Aaron is certified by the Post-Tensioning Institute (the organization responsible for the design and construction of all slab-on-grade post-tension foundations) as a Level One Post-Tension Cable Installer. He is also certified by the Exterior Design Institute as an EIFS (Synthetic Stucco) Inspector and Moisture Analyst.
