Get to know Lorna Justice
As a 12 year resident of Hudson, I have seen our town grow and change just as my family has! Originally from California, Ohio was a foreign land to me. Today, I embrace it as home. My involvement in the community in local volunteer organizations, working within the school system and being a business owner has enriched my knowledge and contacts in the area.
Spring and summer are welcomed by all Ohio residents and my family is no exception. We have embraced the local attractions and are avid water skiiers as well as a not so well known sport of stock hydroplane racers. Both of my children race and it is a week-end activity that requires all hands in the family!
Hudson is a wonderful community to raise a family. With access to Akron or Cleveland just 25 minutes in either direction, residents of Hudson enjoy the best of the Arts, the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, the Great Lakes and absolutely the greatest bunch of restaurants in the area.
Downtown Hudson has seen so much growth in the last few years with the addition of our First and Main shopping area. It as added to the quaint feel of a New England town. Wonderful food, great shopping, a strong school system and thriving economy makes Hudson an attractive community to move to.

My background has always been finance, but the hobbies have been in home design and decor. I owned and operated a design business which specialized in faux painting and custom window treatments. This experience serves me well in helping my sellers prepare and stage their homes before getting them on the market. First impressions are everything to buyers today.
My experience for the past eight years has been somewhat mixed as I went back into lending as a licensed loan officer and then moved over to title. This has proven invaluable in negotiating contracts between buyers and sellers since I understand what the lenders will and will not allow with regard to structuring the loan. I am also sensitive to what the title process is and how to explain closing costs and title fees to my clients. When you consider that most people only buy three to four homes during their lifetime, it is not a process that they retain and education is key. Real Estate has become my passion and I get great pleasure out of helping people find the right home.
