Get to Know Melissa Rickert
Real Estate is my passion, much to my husband's chagrin at times. It's a perfect day when I can assist someone to achieve their dreams. I have a degree in Business from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas and a degree in Nursing. I have worked as a Critical Care Nurse. Your dreams and priorities are my first priority. I will do everything realistically possible to see that you achieve those dreams. My nursing comes to the forefront even in Real Estate. I care about people and their well being.
One more course is all that separates me from having my GRI. I am already signed up to take it in February.

Certifications
I work all of Collin County, Texas: including Allen, Lovejoy ISD (I have lived in Fairview, part of the Lovejoy ISD for 19 years), Plano, McKinney, Anna, Frisco (including the part located in Denton County), and Prosper. I sometimes work in Garland and Dallas as well.
Working with buyers and sellers in the Lovejoy ISD is a special treat. Because of the unique qualities of the area, the homes tend to be very unique as well. Where else can you buy a home on an acreage lot and be so close to everything the Metroplex has to offer? It has become a little bit of the country in the midst of the city. Those of us who are already living there know what a well kept secret the Lucas and Fairview areas are. Convenient to shopping and Lake Lavon with exemplary schools, the area is an oasis in the city. Depending on the neighborhood, horses lovers can keep their equine friends at home. Resale as well as new construction is available.
Allen has grown beyond belief. I have watched it grow and know the area very well. Twin Creeks is a wonderful step-up community, and there are other areas that work well for first time buyers. Let me put my knowledge of the area to work for you.
