Get to Know David Mescon

I began appraising real estate in 1986, in Southern California. Having been exposed early on to a wide variety of residential and commercial assignments, I became an independent fee appraiser in 1988. Realizing early in my career that I had a natural proclivity for complex assignments, I gravitated almost immediately toward the appraisal of large and difficult residential properties. I moved to Las Vegas in 1992 and continued to expand upon my experience and expertise in the appraisal of increasingly complex properties. I relocated to the island of Hawaii, (The Big Island), in 2006. I currently service all of Hawaii County, (The Big Island), and will accept complex appraisal assignments on any of the other Hawaiian Islands, and in other states, on a case by case basis.

My fees are competitive and turnaround times are generally faster than average. Guaranteed rush and twenty-four hour emergency turnaround times are also available to meet your needs. Post-appraisal support is second to none - I have extensive knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC guidelines and, should clarification or additional information be required, you can be certain I will follow up in an expeditious manner.


Although I specialize in complex appraisal assignments, I always welcome assignments involving less complexity as well. I look forward to working with you!
