I am a third generation Baltimorean, a city girl who has her finger on the pulse. Baltimore is a city of neighborhoods and I know them all! I am fortunate to be the daughter of the former Chairperson of the Commission of Historic and Architectural Preservation for Baltimore City, and as such, have been exposed to a diversity of historic neighborhoods. I have a deep understanding and appreciation of the rich and vibrant architecture and flavors of the city. In addition, I am the daughter of a well-known interior designer, and inherited the knack for color and staging, which will serve you well in listing your house with me if you are the seller, or in helping you, the buyer, to envision the possibilities of making a house your home. | From the start, we were impressed by Marjie’s warmth and kindness. We could not have asked for a better person to initiate us into the process of buying a home in Baltimore. She has an excellent sense of the atmosphere and lifestyle qualities offered by each neighborhood in Baltimore, and she quickly tuned into the type of setting we were seeking. She also quickly intuited what we were looking for in a home, and it was wonderful having her by our side while we were viewing houses. Marjie has a light touch during showings – she gave us plenty of emotional space to respond to homes on our own, but she also responded genuinely herself, making for an extremely helpful sounding board for our thoughts and concerns. Marjie also alerted us to the existence of several homebuying incentives offered by the city. Because we knew about these incentive programs early in the homebuying process, we were able to stay on top of the paperwork and deadlines, and ultimately we ended up receiving a substantial sum of money to put toward our downpayment.
