I've been an appraiser since November, 2001 but have been in the real estate industry since 1985.  My real estate background includes title insurance, real estate settlements, mortgage processing/closing, real estate sales and residential appraisals.   If there was a job opportunity in the real estate field, I've probably done it. 

The appraisal industry has experienced quite a bit of changes over the last couple years.  Now more than ever, underwriters are scrutinizing appraisal reports.  If an appraisal appears to be poorly done or errors are noted by the underwriter, they could possible hold up settlement for buyers until either the appraiser makes corrections, provides additional comparables, writes an addendum, or requires a completely new appraisal done by another appraiser.  I take pride in every report that I present to my clients.  I am confident that with every question an underwriter may ask, it will be easily found within my appraisal report.  Thus, no delays!

I'm also a licensed real estate sales associate currently affiliated with Smithville All Pro Realtors in the Smithville section of Galloway Township, NJ.
