Brian Voss is a resident of North Branch and Saint Paul and a full-time Realtor affiliated with Realty Group, one of most ambitious and growing real estate companies in Minnesota, based out of their Forest Lake office. He also currently serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of North Branch.

But before Brian became a Realtor, he was a locomotive engineer, which was a childhood dream (okay, an obsession) come true. When he received his engineer’s license in 1998 the railroad tried to force him to move out of state, just weeks after buying his first home under the promise that the railroad would keep him there. Early on he had a feeling that railroading wasn’t going to be his entire life’s work... so in 2005 he started actively pursuing another passion of his - real estate.

Even before homes and trains, Brian discovered his love for music, which continues to this day. He currently serves as the Principal Organist / Accompanist at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lindström, and he also accompanies Unexpected Company Chorale, a chorale based in the Chisago Lakes area.

Brian lives with his husband, two dogs and a cat and enjoys visiting his adult children in Wisconsin as often as he can. He is an avid snowboarder and model railroader (he was a locomotive engineer from 1998-2008 and obtained his real estate license in 2005!) and enjoys landscaping, photography, running, camping and biking.
