I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with a BSBA in Real Estate and Urban Analysis. I came to Boone from South Boston, VA in 1997 to attend ASU. I have always been interested in Real Estate and I continue to pursue that passion today.
I was an active student in college. I was chosen to be in the in the Appalachian Marching band for 3 years in the Basketball band for 2 years. Once I was admitted to the College of Business, I became an active part of Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) the only co-ed, professional fraternal organization in sales, marketing, and management. In my three years with PSE, I was nominated and elected as the Vice President of Human Resources, and later I was chosen as President of the organization. I was also a member of the Walker College of Business Dean's Council. In my "spare time" during college, I played intramural softball and volleyball.
I started my career in Real Estate by working with vacation rentals and property management. After five years of property management experience I decided it was time to move to full-time sales. So, I worked for a company that had both property management and Real Estate sales. This was a great opportunity to put my education into action. Three years later, I had a total of eight years of field experience and I was ready to start my career as a full-time Real Estate professional.
I take pride in my career and I take advantage of every opportunity to improve my professionalism. I also believe that one can never have enough education. I have completed my Graduate Realtor Institution (GRI) courses, my e-Pro, GREEN, SFR, and CRS designation.
I have dedicated over twelve years of my life to Real Estate education and practice. As your agent, I put these experience and education to work for you. Whether you want to purchase a home in the area or sell your current home, I can help you.
