I have had a love for real estate since I was a little girl. My father built homes and I was always around helping him. Once I was older I decided to obtain my real estate license and help people with obtaining their dream of owning a home. I decided to become a realtor for Indiana and Illinois and worked with a company named McColly Better Homes and Gardens. I had great mentors and learned a lot about the real estate market for existing homes and new construction.
I moved to Florida in 1998 and started to rehab homes in the Clearwater area. I enjoyed taking tired sad homes and making them come alive once again. When I completed a house I needed to find a family to make the house a home. So I had to go back to real estate state school to get my Florida Real Estate License. Once I received my license I continued to take classes so I can be the best I can be to make sure I provide the best customer service possible. I also went on to receive my GRI designation (Graduate Realtor Institute) and my RSPS certification (Resort and Second Home Property Specialist).
The greatest satisfaction I receive is seeing the faces of new homeowners as I hand them the keys to their new home. I love working with all types of clients, from First Time Home buyers to empty nesters and people relocating to Florida.
I was born in Harvey Illinois and at age 13 moved to South Holland, Illinois where I lived for 25 years. I graduated in 1970 from Thornridge High School, in Dolton Illinois, home of the Falcons. Than in 1990 I moved to Crown Point Indiana than to Dyer Indiana. I have two Sons who live in Dyer Indiana one is a Chrysler Mechanic and the other is a Cost Analysis for NiSource. I was blessed to also have a beautiful daughter-in-law and three grandsons.
My other passion is decorating cakes. I love to use my talents creating specialty cakes and cupcakes for any occasion. I also lobbied to get the Cottage Food Law passed on July 1 2010 it Governor Scott sign it into law. This law allows people who have a baking or cooking passion to have a home based business and sell to the public. I received my GRI designation (Graduate Realtor Institute) and RSPS certification (Resort and Second Home Property Specialist) which allows me to have greater knowledge of the real estate industry. I service the First Time home buyer and seller to the Empty nesters looking to down size or find a second or vacation home. My primary areas that I service is from along the Gulf of Mexico from Clearwater Beach to St Petersburg Beach and Tierra Verde. I also work off the barrier island within Clearwater, Seminole, Largo, Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor and Safety Harbor.
I have been working in the real estate industry since 1990, and prior to that I worked with my dad who built custom homes, I also rehab properties. I enjoy real estate and enjoy helping people fullfill a dream of owning a home.

| This entire process was exciting. At the same time very emotional and overwhelming. Barbara understood that from the beginning! She rode the roller coaster with us. She was extremely helpful. She was continually communicating with us, and explaining everything as we went along. We were moving from Michigan to Florida.
