Corporate real estate as a research librarian was my start point. I later made the switch to selling real estate, which eventually led me to obtain a Broker's license and establish my own agency.
I've lived in the Boston area (Cambridge, Boston proper, Gloucester, and Marblehead) for over 25 years, a transplant from Grand Rapids, MI, where I grew up, via San Francisco, which I try to get to when I can. Cambridge is a stimulating place to live (and learn) and meet people from all over the world drawn to the what some consider the hub of higher education, medicine & tech innovation. The Charles River that runs between Boston & Cambrdge (and scores of college & universities) is my favorite spot especially at just about sunrise at its banks on a bike or on the Weeks Footbridge with a cup of coffee in hand, watching local crews (especially brave in the most inclement weather) ply the same waters that provided sustenance for early Native Americans. Living in this part of New England gives me the opportunity for short getaways to towns and beaches that dot the North Shore, Cape Ann (I regularly hike the shore from Gloucester to Rockport), and Cape Cod. A special bonus is the easy drive to New York City for art, theatre & shopping. I also farm an 11x11 garden plot as a member of the Sacramento Street Community Garden which gives rises each spring to a show of roses and if weather permits fresh herbs & vegetables.
I belong to the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, the National and Massachusetts Association Realtors, the Cambridge Council of Realtor, and Multiple Listing Service. I have a BS in Human Services and a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations.
