When I stepped into the world of Real Estate over 25 years ago, I never dreamed it would become my career. I started my job history in retail learning how to deliver customer service with a smile and work long hours for little to no money (if you consider all the hours I worked off the clock). I got a job through a friend of mine working in property management on an older apartment community in a scary part of town where there was brown shag carpet and frostless refrigerators. I had little formal training initially so getting promoted quickly to a property manager came from just jumping in and doing it. My journey through the years of property management included working a huge community (over 1100 units), to new construction lease ups, to renovations, to finally a high end highrise community Downtown Dallas where I had back to back floods, service managers dropping their keys on my desk without notice, regular visits from the FBI and DEA, and non-stop resident issues. I know there is a book to be written somewhere along the line. 

When I took a long look at the number of hours that I worked and the quality of life that came with the constant day to day madness, it was time to make a decision to move to a job that I could love. I took the best of what I had learned with all these experiences along with my desire to help people and chose to transition into real estate sales. I have a proven record of strong customer service skills, negotiatiating tough deals, creative marketing, and excellent communication. I spent a lot of years researching markets and analyzing value in relation to growth and marketability. 

I have found a new freedom with being my own boss. I now have time to build relationships, network, research new growth and become more educated with area conditions, I am much more involved with the community and have established some new networking groups locally. I also have more time to devote to my other passion, being a freelance artist. In fact, I not only provide my new homeowners with a sketch of their home but I am producing coloring pages that I give to all my friends and clients. Recently, I have had several requests for personalized coloring pages for children with cancer. That is a gift I give from my heart. 

My wish is to help make dreams come true whether it is for frst time home owners, those who need to downsize or grow into something larger, or those who want to purchase investment properties.
