A Top Professional at RE/MAX Competitive EdgeAnthony DiNardi, Broker/Owner

Mr. Paruta has become one of RE/MAX Competitive Edge's most consistent real estate performers by providing highly focused real estate services and applying his many years of experience in and out of real estate to his business. Larry works to build his business client-by-client through trust, communication and solid negotiating skills.

Larry has been a New Jersey resident throughout his life, and became a resident of Union County in 1978 when he, his wife and two children moved to Clark. The family moved to Scotch Plains in 1987 and then to Bernardsville in 2009. A Jersey boy all-the-way, he is a graduate of Rutgers University with a Masters degree in Psychology.

Prior to beginning his career as a real estate professional, Larry owned his own marketing and advertising agency for more than 15 years, where he provided insight, creative concepts and strategic marketing plans for many large national corporations as well as major regional manufacturers of medical hard goods and diagnostic equipment. His work in that field taught him to not accept the first answer to a problem but rather to continue analyzing the opportunities until the very best solution becomes apparent. He brings that problem-solving work ethic to good use in real estate as he assimilates the needs, desires and budget of his real estate clients into his quest to find the right solution for them. Thus, Larry has an outstanding sales record and is very comfortable with properties in all price ranges.

As the President of Trustees for Osceola Church in Clark, Larry spearheaded the complete reconstruction of the church building after a devastating fire burned the structure to the ground. That experience taught him a great deal about local zoning, ordinances, permits, utilities, planning, and budget planning. His background together with having acted as general contractor for renovating several properties, and as an investor in rental real estate enables him to advise clients on various projects, large and small.

In his free time, Larry enjoys spending time with his wife, Gayle, his two daughters, and the family's black lab, Jersey Girl. Larry is also a musician who loves playing rock n' roll and blues guitar.

Although his focus and energy have made him an outstanding real estate professional, he gives all of the credit to his clients for their trust and belief in his ability to produce outstanding results through every step of the real estate transaction.

Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE)In 2009, with a unique understanding of the current U.S. housing market and the national financial crisis that is causing untold stress and heartache for many American families, I pursued intensive training to become a Certified Distressed Property Expert.

As a CDPE, I have attained the necessary expertise to assist homeowners who are facing the possibility of foreclosure and I have devoted a portion of my real estate practice to helping homeowners alleviate one of the most devastating financial challenges that a family can face and one that, more often than not, can be avoided.
