Caroline Carrara, Managing Broker of Esslinger Wooten Maxwell's (EWM) Las Olas branch in Fort Lauderdale, has enjoyed more than six successful years of real estate management. Her forty+ agents are involved in residential and commercial real estate sales and leasing in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. Previously the Assistant Sales Manager to Norby Machado of EWM's Miami Beach office, Caroline joined the EWM team in June 2006 with two years of experience in a supervisory role, managing and motivating real estate agents. "I joined EWM because of its above-board tremendous reputation in the area and the industry."

Prior to her real estate career, Caroline managed boutique hotels in Miami Beach for more than ten years. On Miami Beach, she was heavily involved in its Chamber of Commerce, Entertainment and Hospitality Committees and the South Beach Hotel and Restaurant Association. "I loved rolling up my sleeves and digging into all Miami Beach had to offer.  Having lived in Europe, Central America and New York, I related to people from all over the world who came to claim their corner of our incredible sunshine." 

Being the manager at the EWM Las Olas office affords Caroline many networking opportunities. She continues her community affiliations by attending chamber events and project launches. She now serves as the Chair of the East of Himmarshee Committee and is serving a second year on the Board for the Las Olas Association (an organization whose purpose is to promote and publicize East Las Olas Boulevard as a shopping area and establish its place and status in the community of Fort Lauderdale, as well as encourage such civic functions and social and cultural events.) Caroline is proud that this organization "encourages the maintenance of high business standards" which parallels EWM's philosophy and practice.  This Association also encourages "a spirit of cooperation among its members as well as compiles and distributes business information to its members for their benefit." This supports her role at EWM Realtors - to ensure that EWM's Las Olas office, through Caroline, is well-represented in the community where it is centrally located and her agents conduct business. 

Caroline is also a member of Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale (RAGFL) where she was inducted into the International Real Estate Council and its subcommittee for The International Women's Day Event. "I want to establish a strong presence of our company at our local board. It is important to support our Board of Realtors, and through the International Real Estate Council, I have enjoyed meeting agents who, like me, come from all over the world and serve in the Real Estate industry." She is also honored to be invited to participate in the RAGFL 2010 Leadership Academy and a member of the WCR, Women's Council of Realtors. 

 As a resident of South Florida since 1994, Caroline has had the opportunity to watch the real estate market and skyline evolve and develop into what it is today.  "I have had the opportunity to work in New York City, Miami and Nicaragua, all during times of tremendous growth and change." This laid a solid foundation for Caroline's career in Real Estate Management in South Florida. 

The South Florida lifestyle suits Caroline for both work and play. It is the perfect backdrop in which to raise her young son, who loves the warm, balmy breezes and white sandy beaches. He has lots of friends, is involved in karate and all types of outdoor activities.
