Mr. Cohan started in the residential lending services business in 1996 with Western Thrift and Loan in Phoenix, AZ. Mr. Cohan's professional experience in the refinance and purchase markets industry includes loan underwriting, processing, funding, document preparation and the origination of residential mortgages.
Mr. Cohan was a Private Mortgage Banker and worked with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage division for 5 years. Mr. Cohan's current client database contains over $100 million in residential mortgages, which he assisted in advising and developing sound financial strategies of investment and money management. Mr. Cohan in addition has established close working relationships with Realtors, Builders, Financial Planners, Attorneys and CPA's. Mr. Cohan's extensive credit training allows him to underwrite complex self - employed business and personal tax returns for high net worth clients. This training serves to formulate detailed plans to help clients in the integration of their overall long and short term financial goals. Mr. Cohan is then able of realizing the client's objectives in enhancing their net worth, improving their cash flow while minimizing taxes.
Since Mr. Cohan has been in the residential lending business he has helped clients purchase their first home, become financially debt free, maximize their wealth and help them realize their dreams in home ownership. Mr. Cohan has been awarded with many top performer awards and has kept a high customer satisfactory rating. This is an award which he holds in high regard. Mr. Cohan believes it shows that his clients appreciate and respect the guidance offered them when making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
Mr. Cohan currently works for Countrywide Home Loans in Phoenix Arizona; in addition he also is affiliated with the Scottsdale Association of Realtors, Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and other professional organizations.
Mr. Cohan and his family enjoy spending time playing golf, keeping fit and traveling.
