California Certified Inspections’ (CCI) is owned by Anthony R. Perez who has been in the plumbing and construction trades since 1983 and a licensed contractor since 1989 (#574974) obtaining 5 classifications. CCI began studying damp building syndrome in 2006 becoming InterNACHI and NAERMC Certified in Mold and General Home Inspections in 2008. Since 2008 CC has obtained numerous mold related certifications, in building sciences, wood destroying organisms, water infiltration investigations and structural water damage, we possess state of the art inspection equipment, air sampling equipment and quality reporting software making our reports relevant and meaningful.
CC possesses exceptional skills in inspecting and evaluating building structures for construction defects, moisture infiltration problems, asbestos and lead. We are knowledgeable in damp building syndrome, mold and moisture related problems as researched and put forth by the EPA, OSHA, NIOSH, CDC, IOM, WHO AND CDPH. We also have knowledge in California landlord/tenant laws, mold regulations, contractor’s license laws and building code laws which give us the skills to argue, clarify and resolve controversy between tenants, landlords, and public health and safety officials.
