I am the owner/broker of ADKOR Realty. In breaking out on her own and establishing ADKOR (which stands for "A Different Kind of Realty") I made the conscious decision to create a small 'boutique' type brokerage environment. The office currently is made up of two agents, an escrow manager, and a couple of part-time assistants.

We specialize in Residential sales. Because so many of our buyer clients come to us from out of state, unfamiliar with the Austin and surrounding areas, we work the entire Austin-San Marcos Metroplex. Many buyers come looking to buy in Austin, but then after spending time with us find that one of the surrounding areas, such as Dripping Springs, Lakeway, Kyle or Round Rock meet their needs better...they just didn't know the areas existed!
Our goal is to understand what are client's goals are, what are they looking for in a home, what price range is best for them, where are they going to be commuting every day, what are their favorite past times etc. Basically it's like working on a puzzle, my clients have most of the pieces, but aren't sure what the final picture is. We come in, and by adding our expertise of the area to what they tell us we can bring it all together.
In the selling arena, again we work the entire Austin area as we have clients all over, however our specialty is our own backyard of Hays County, Kyle, Buda, Dripping Springs, Wimberley and San Marcos. As we live in Hays we can be there in a 'snap' when a potential buyer wants to see one of our clients homes.
