For the past 22 years, Doug Crowe has been an active investor and developer. In 2001, Doug founded the Springboard Academy, the nation's only semester-based real estate school for investors. The academy graduated students ONLY when they had tangible results from their investing. Weekly homework, ongoing support, and constant communication gave the Springboard Group, the highest percentage of successful students of any real estate education system in the world.

Doug also hosted the longest running real estate talk show in the Midwest. He began on WIND and migrated over to WLS in 2007. The show featured stories, humor, and interviews from noted authors Robert Shemin, Laurel Langmeier and Robert Kiyosaki.

Interestingly, Doug has taken a hiatus from the academy, radio show, and all other developments to focus on his dream project...a 350 acre private island resort in the Caribbean. This project is the largest development in Belize and will feature over 300 private villas, 2 major hotels, a convention center and world class spa. The project is being designed by Kobi Karp, who earned the distinction of architect of the year in 2007. The project is fully approved, entitled, and construction on phase I is underway.
