I am a wife, mother and Realtor/Broker. I love my job! I have lived in this area all my life. I know this community very well. I have been on the PTA for years and 2 years Vice-President of the PTA. I have taught vacation bible school and Sunday school many times, always to children. I have said many times this job is ideal for my personality…I can meet new wonderful people. I love to negotiate on my clients behalf to get the best deal! I am a true believer in the “Golden Rule”. I will work to guide buyers through the entire process and help them find just the right home within their financial comfort zone. I do not believe in going above what you can afford and eating PB&J sandwiches every night. I have found a love in foreclosures/REO properties and new construction. I have received the Club of Excellence award for the past several years, Multi-Million Dollar Producer and RE/MAX Executive Club award. I have achieved my Brokers license, e-Pro, (CRS) Certified Residential Specialist and (ABR) Accredited Buyer Representative Designations from the National Association of Realtors. I have served on the Birmingham Association of Realtors® MLS Committee, and I am currently Chair of the Professional Development Committee and a member of the Womens Council of Realtors®. I have found a love for helping first time home buyers with the purchase of a home. There is nothing more gratifying than knowing you helped them start off their lives in a home of their own. I also love the challenge of foreclosures because there are no emotions involved with a bank. It's all about the numbers to them. Lastly, I enjoy working on new construction and seeing a home built from the ground up.

| Dede helped my wife and I look at pre built houses and we eventually decided on new construction. Dede was there through it all looking out for our best interests. It is great to work with someone that is so familiar with the area and the available houses. Without looking at any of her reference material she is able to tell you exactly where a house is, if it might be inside or outside your ideal area, and once Dede gets to know you, she will even tell you if it has the finishing touches or the lot that you are looking for. Honestly Dede has become a friend after working with her. My wife and I have both said if we ever have to buy or sell a house again, we are going to Dede first. |

| Dede represented us in the sale of our garden home in Springville in 2011. The market was slow in the area and homes sat for long periods of time with other real estate signs in the front yard. Much to our delight and suprise, Dede sold our house in such a short amount of time that we were caught off guard. She quickly found us a home on the other side of town where we were not familiar and did a fabulous job in selecting the perfect area for us. Cannot say enough about how helpful in every step of the process she was. | Thank you so much for your tireless hard work in getting our garden home sold! In spite of a real estate market that is so depressed that you can hardly give a house away, you saw this one through to completion...not to mention that it was a Dryvit home on top of it all! Dryvit is a fantastic product when it is applied correctly, which our home WAS done correctly. Sadly, Dryvit has received a bad reputation due to a few careless contractors in the past who did not know what they were doing, or did not care, which resulted in rotted wood and damaged windows. Nevertheless, you overcame all of the obstacles and helped us obtain the sale! You represented us extremely well Dede.
