The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing is the premier independent authority in training and designation for real estate agents working in the luxury residential market.
The Institute exists to help real estate professionals provide high quality service to the buyers and sellers of luxury homes and in so doing, maximize their own success in the upper-tier residential market. Institute training and membership is open to luxury home and estate agents regardless of firm or brand affiliation.
Brief History About the Institute
The Institute was founded in 2003 by Laurie Moore-Moore in response to the increasing demand for luxury real estate training to better serve affluent buyers and sellers. Ms. Moore-Moore started The Institute after more than four decades of professional speaking and consulting experience in the real estate space. In addition to speaking and training, as co-founder of Real Trends, a publishing and communications company serving brokerage company top managers, she ran CEO strategy groups, did research identifying the nations largest brokerage firms, and co-edited the first industry trend letter. She is a licensed broker.
Ms. Moore-Moore authored Rich Buyer, Rich Seller, a real estate agent's guide to marketing luxury homes.
Since 2015, The Institute has partnered with McKissock Learning, one of the largest providers of professional development and continuing education (CE) for real estate agents, to provide an exceptional learning experience and ongoing resources to those aspiring and already performing within their luxury market.
