My Story

  As a young girl and I always felt that I wanted to help others. At the age of 11 I volunteered from 8 to 6 every Saturday at an orphanage named McCluskey's in White Plains. I worked with 2 to 4-year-olds who were orphaned and had nobody in the world. There was no feeling like showing up there on Saturday morning and seeing all those young faces run up to me at the ripe old age of 11 with the joy and happiness that I brought them by spending the day with them.
At 13 I became a candy striper in a hospital in White Plains that is no longer there. Saint Agnes and again spend my time doing little things to help people. bringing their flowers that were delivered to the hospital for them. taking them down to x-ray, just making them smile.
After that I got involved in our family dry cleaning business which I worked in the 6 days a week after school and Saturdays providing customer service and learning a work ethic that would carry me through life. I worked at the store through high school and college where I earned a degree in behavioral sciences. I went into work at New York Hospital Cornell medical center psychiatric division on Bloomingdale Road in White Plains as a mental health worker. Again, I found myself helping people by working on an acute care admission unit. This was an intense environment where people were coming in in crisis. It was very rewarding and enlightening to help them sort out the factors that brought them there and how to get better. This time of my life taught me to understand how different people are and how each one needed to be understood and treated individually.
I went back into the family business and met the love of my life and had a wonderful son and dedicated myself to being a stay at home mom for what I consider the happiest time of my life. Nothing has ever compared to the joy my son has brought to my life. We moved to Yorktown 17 years ago and build our life here. .I became a real estate agent 12 years ago and feel like the culmination of everything I've done in life has made me into the agent I am today. What started out as simply helping people as a young girl combined with the learning how to provide good customer service and run a business, moving on to graduating college and into a profession based on helping people and understanding the wide spectrum of behaviors that make people who they and the different needs they all had, gave me the basis to become uniquely qualified as an agent. During the past 12 years I have sold many homes in real estate and helped countless people through a process that can be stressful and scary and filled with uncertainty.
It should be fun ! It should be exciting! This is probably the biggest purchase and life decision a person can make for themselves or their family. So, I make it my mission in life to take the stress the uncertainty in the scary out of this process. whether someone is looking to sell their house to upsize, downsize, start a family and or just simply make a change. Whether someone has lots of money or very little money or is it in financial distress and needs help resolving those issues I am there. I bring my experience and my knowledge to the table. I meet, talk to, and learn to understand and know my clients. I hold their hand from day one until the day we sit across the closing table.
I have a very strong ethical basis to my business and I bring integrity and professionalism to every transaction I handle.
