Randy and Dot Sewell are definitely Appalachian Land Company's "Dynamic Duo." Their motto as a couple working in real estate is, "Together Serving You."

Randy grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a graduate of Georgia Tech. He is a licensed structural engineer. Dot was born and raised in Newark, Ohio. She worked for many years as Food Service Director for the Marriott Corporation.

As a boy, Randy spent many summers on Lake Chatuge at his parents' cabin. He and Dot enjoyed their visits here and were thrilled to at last move to their beloved mountain country several years ago. Working at Appalachian Land Company in other capacities, they both felt led to begin a new adventure--as real estate agents. As Dot puts it, "Real estate is a ‘people business' and what better way to serve God than by serving people. We get a real thrill from helping people not just meet their housing needs, but finding them just the right home to realize their dreams.

For those who are selling property, we take great pleasure in doing all we can to market their property effectively and finding them a buyer."

Randy and Dot have four children and 10 grandchildren! Their love of children is evident as they work with the children in their church and teach a Good News Club at one of the local elementary schools every week. They both enjoy fishing and reading, while Dot spends leisure time sewing and writing as well. Among the Appalachian Land Family, we all value their wise counsel, prayer support and continual encouragement..
