As a Realtor in San Diego County I've seen a lot of change.
Not just in the real estate market, but as the years have rolled by, the sleepy little town has grown up. Downtown is hopping! What a wow place to be. Full of life and great energy. With it's amazing location is seems like it would have been a given, but there was not much happening there for a long time. Now Downtown is full of new growth, and great, AMAZING, buyer opportunities. Properties are selling for less than owners bought them for just a couple of years ago. Some lucky folks, ready to move, are turning this market a win. Del Mar has moved forward too. Recent changes have allowed a lot of the restaurants to expand seating along the street and it has a more European Flair. A couple of new art galleries, the top notch L'Auberage, the world famous Del Mar Races, and it's gorgeous beaches just make working and living here better and better. La Jolla's Bird Rock area has undergone a major face lift. With it's new look, it's drawing a more walking crowd and the beaches there are always a wow.
Real Estate isn't just about the property. Key to the sale or purchase is negotiation ( which I love), working with a great team (I have some amazing people that I work with), and making a major transaction as smooth and painless, with as few hic-ups as possible, and, ones that are easily resolved.
I like stopping with my clients for coffee (I'm currently partial to Starbucks) and making the experience fun and comfortable. Why not!
Certifications
Del Mar, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe, and Carmel Valley are my backyard. Every week I see 12-20 homes. My job is to know what's current in the area, and be the expert. Prices range from just under a million up to mulit-millions. Finding what my clients are looking for, without them needing to see 100's of properties is part of what I do. Spotting a property that's a match, I let my clients know right away. Hurrah for cell phones and internet!
