ABOUT ME:

I'm a Mortgage Advisor with CMG Home Loans | Branch NMLS #1177426 and have been in the mortgage and financial services industry since 2005.  I have had extensive training in Mortgage lending, Sales and Sales Management, as well as Interviewing and Training.  I carried licensing for both Life Insurance and Accident/Health Insurance for 9 years.  I also received investment, financial & retirement planning education during this time period as well.

I currently hold a Mortgage Loan Originators License in the States of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa & North Dakota in accordance with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) - License #328679.

I was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota right by Como Park and currently live in Oakdale, MN with my wife Ashley and our two Siberian Huskies, Thor & Loki. I often run our dogs through our nearby trails to burn up some of that “husky energy,” that never seems to wane. We both enjoy spending time with family and friends playing cards, going to concerts and golfing. Most nights are spent relaxing on our patio, going to the Drive-In Theater with our pups, reading, or watching a show on Netflix. It takes energy to keep up in this fast-paced industry, so we both frequent the gym and strive to eat right for optimum health. We also spend several hours each month on weekends and evenings doing volunteer educational work with families. I know when it comes to home loans it can seem overwhelming for many, but I take pride in making things as simple as possible for you. We began our refinancing journey by talking to our current lender Wells Fargo.  Thinking that since we have all of our accounts with them and have been good customers they might want to keep our business and would try to find the best deal.  This was clearly a mistake!  They basically said the best they could do was 3.75% and in the end it wasn't worth it to refinance.

July 16th was an exciting day for Fay and I. We closed on our new loan. This has been a venture as we have been turned down for refinancing our home three times over the last two years. It has been very frustrating for us to know that we could be saving $600 a month on our loan payment, but being self employed and having a high start-up business cost that lowered our income and increased our debt.

After talking to Wendy H. at US Bank Small Business department she provided me with a contact at Progressive Lending Solutions at which time I discussed our situation with David Youngs. With our first discussion David reiterated what I have been told in the past that the numbers looked bad. I thought that this was the end of it and we were rejected again. I was totally wrong, as David acknowledged that he could not guaranty success he would do his best to find a solution.

From that point David and I had regular communications finding different documents and David used his network of people to find a lender that would review my situation and with the nudging from David, would look at my information and work outside the box. I sometimes felt that there would never be a solution and was it time to just stop the application. After realizing all of the hard work that David was doing and the amount of time he was committing to our loan application, I knew that I had to make sure I did my part with providing David any information he needed in a timely matter. I even had shoes sizes and favorite colors for my family recorded in case David needed them (lol).

When David called and said our loan was approved and we could close on July 16th. It was a surreal feeling for my family. David was such a positive person and was very creative and resourceful in overcoming the hurdles in our loan application. Anyone can do a typical loan application but it takes someone special on the difficult applications and David is that special person.

My husband and I were hesitant to refinance our seasonal home on the North Shore of Lake Superior because an attempt two years prior was a six month horror story of lost paper work, intimidating phone calls, and even though regarded as high quality applicants no refinance occurred. While I didn't like all the tough conversations David and I had, I knew they were necessary given my particular situation and what I was [not] able to bring to the table. The same tenacity proved well and just as fierce to be in my corner. The Infinite Team had my back when it came to communicating with my employer. They kept stressing how important and urgent my employer's cooperation was when they weren't getting things back in a timely manner.
