I LOVE THIS BUSINESS!!! I have been in this business since 2000, starting off as a mortgage broker. Seeing the difficulties with brokering over banking, my partner and I started Ascella Mortgage in 2003 with the sole purpose of becoming mortgage bankers so we can offer the best service, rates and programs available. We currently have 4 offices throughout New England with an additional 8 states we are licensed in, with all underwriting, funding and docs being done at our Manchester, CT location.
We are a Direct Endosered FHA lender, and underwrite and fund all FHA loans in house. We offer same day turnaround for prequalifications, and if you ever have a client that is interested in purchasing a home, I can offer a full underwrite, pending only title and appriasal if necessary. As a direct lender, I offer you and your clients same day underwriting, fast closings, and great rates. We manually underwrite FHA loans, so if you have a credit challenged client, I have the opportunity to look beyond the credit and make underwriting decisions based on other compensating factors.
For conforming loans, my closing costs and rates are as good, if not better than the bank, with far superior service, since all underwriting, docs and funds are done in house. Give me a try. You will not be disappointed.
