My family has called the Jacksonville area home since 1993. It's a wonderful area to raise children. There are so many things to do here, from the beaches, aquarium, Fort Macon @ Atlantic Beach, USS North Carolina in Wilmington, Tryon Palace in New Bern, and all the different festivals held annually. Most are under 2 hours from Jacksonville.
