Get to Know Elaine Cerrato
I was born and raised in New York and graduated from the College of Mt. St. Vincent in Riverdale with a BS in Business. I then spent two years in the Peace Corps in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. During those two years I was fortunate enough to be able to travel in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
I then spent the next fifteen years as a stay at home mom, raising my son and three daughters. During that time I was very active in my community, and served as President for PTAs at three different schools. After that I returned to work, first as a teacher, then as a bookkeeper. I finally started my own bookkeeping and word processing business which I ran successfully for over seven years.
In 1992 I relocated to the eastern shore of Maryland and decided to try my hand at real estate. I've done well from the beginning and love what I do!

My market is the beaches of Maryland and Delaware as far north as Bethany. I also service all of Worcester County as far south as the Virginia state line, and the Salisbury area as well. Most of my buyers are interested in second homes or investments, but I've sold a great many primary homes and building lots to those who want the joys of living near the ocean. As a graduate of the REALTORS Institute (GRI) I have substantial knowledge of the market and the tools to lead my Buyers properly and confidently. I also have tried-and-true quality people to whom I can refer my Buyers for mortgages, title work, home inspections, builders, and repairs of all kinds. I'm an endless source of information and if I don't know, I'll find out!
