Select a REALTOR who knows the marketplace. Real Estate is a "local business" and knowledge of market trends, pricing, discounting, etc. is invaluable whether you're buying or selling. Select a REALTOR who will be honest with you, even if it is not what you want to hear. (If a REALTOR offers to sell your home above the market price, be cautious. More than likely they are "bidding" to win your listing. The selling price of your home is "generally" dictated by market forces; not a price established by a REALTOR.) Select a REALTOR who believes in moving at "your pace." You don't need to feel pressured when making a major commitment.

I have been an area resident for several years, during which time I have become very attached to the natural beauty of the mountains, lakes and waterfalls, as well as the caring people who have decided to make this their full-time or seasonal home.

Upon coming to the area, I served as a visiting Professor in the Business College at Western Carolina University. I later became an investor in real estate, and thereafter active on a full-time basis serving clients interested in purchasing homes or land. Due to my 30+ years of business experience, I also provide service in the areas of commercial land, the sale or lease of commercial property, as well as the search and/or sale of large tracts of land suitable for an estate or subdivision.

My credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, membership in National Association of Realtors, and the NC Association of Realtors. I served as President of the Highlands-Cashiers Board of REALTORS in 2011 and 2012.

My goal is to assist individuals and investors with the purchase or sale of residential property, large land tracts,or unique properties. I also provide service in the sale or lease of commercial property.
