As a young, suburban community poised for a bright future, , Colorado has much to offer the prospective homebuyer. As a master-planned community located outside of Denver, CO, the area features excellent homes within a convenient location to coveted amenities. Real estate options consist of single-family and multi-family homes for sale, condominiums and townhomes. The Denver Tech Center and Meridian International Business Center are within 10 miles. Central Denver is within 20 miles and is connected to the community via a four-lane toll road (E-470) and Interstate 25. Most of the workforce travels outside of Stonegate for employment, but the average commute time is less than 30 minutes. Communities adjacent to Stonegate include Grand View Estates, Cottonwood and Parker. About 9,700 residents enjoy the family-oriented, outdoor lifestyle offered in Stonegate. Approximately one-third of the Stonegate development is dedicated to outdoor and public spaces. Walking paths, outdoor basketball courts, open spaces and green belts are always open for recreational fun. Stonegate is also located close to two major recreation sites: Castlewood Canyon State Park and Cherry Creek State Park.

Castlewood Canyon State Park in Franktown provides visitors with access to Colorado's Black Forest, a rocky and densely treed canyon area. Within the park are the ruins of Castlewood Canyon Dam, plus rocky canyon walls and a network of trails that wind into the heart of the wilderness. Castlewood Canyon is used primarily for sightseeing, hiking, rock climbing, photography and picnicking.

A much different experience is available at Cherry Creek State Park. Cherry Creek includes a large lake surrounded by serene, rolling hills. Independent businesses within the park provide for boating, horseback riding and shooting. Visitors can also spend their time swimming, camping, hiking and bird watching.
