InTex Inspections is no longer in business. We decided that with the passage of SB914 (mandatory E&O insurance for all Texas home inspectors) that the added cost of the insurance, the increased possibility of lawsuits (directly related to mandatory E&O), as well as the new directive of TRECs to initiate disciplinary action against inspectors (even without complaint) that we could no longer remain in business and the risk of continuing in the inspection industry in the state of Texas are disproportional.
