Melisa Camp is a licensed Realtor with HomeSmart Elite Group and owner of a green remodeling company called greenhab. Camp is also a licensed Instructor with the AZ Dept. of Real Estate & author of the course, "Speaking Green." She has a Masters in Education from the University of Phoenix & a Bachelors in Business & Communication from Arizona State University. She holds the LEED AP-Homes designation & the GREEN designation for Realtors.

Camp was recognized for her dedication to raising awareness & volunteer efforts with EverGreen Award from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) & the Environmental Stewardship Award from Keep Arizona Beautiful. She has served on the Board for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC AZ) for 2 years and as the Arizona State Advocate for Residential Green Building Committee for 2 years, during which her committee hosted many events on High Performance Home Valuation, Green Home Lending and Financing, Green Home Rating Systems, Living Sustainably, & Green Homes.

Camp has also served on the Board of Directors for 2 other non-profits, Cross Roads Preschool and Kindergarten & Young Professionals Network for the Arizona Association of Realtors (AAR). She is a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) & has certified multiple homes with the NAHB Green Remodeling rating system.

Camp has been recognized in the media over 25 times since 2010 & her work has been published locally & nationally. She has been a featured attendee at the NAR Expo twice & has also been published multiple times on Realtor.com. Before starting a career in Real Estate and Sustainability Camp was a Kindergarten Teacher for 3 years in the public school system, worked in large law firms (mostly in Human Resources), and was an Editor & Journalist for newspapers in the Midwest.

Her enthusiasm for improving the environment is contagious & she enjoys speaking to the public. She also is a dedicated stay-at-home Mother in Phoenix & has two boys 4yrs & 1yr.
