What I do for a living is completely connected to who I am.  Someone once asked me to finish the sentence "I am a person who..."  Well, I am a person who helps other people.  And since I don't have a medical degree, being a Realtor is a great way for me to help people! 

In my case, ABR stands for All Buyers Refer their friends and family to me.  I love listing and selling but I love working with Buyers more.  The hunt for the perfect house, no matter how many houses we have to look at to find it, is the thrill of the chase!  For many years I spent all my free and vacation time training and showing my Arabian horses.  The excitement of finding someone their perfect house is like hearing my number called for Champion!


I bought my first horse in 1967.  I kept it at home.  I did all the work.  And I've been a hands on owner ever since.  My current horse is a 25 year old gelding that I raised from a yearling, stood at stud, and showed at the U.S. Arabian National Championship horse show.  I am not bragging when I say that I know what makes a horse property.  I know that 20 acres does not necessarily make a farm.  I know that just cutting down a bunch a trees doesn't make a pasture.   And I know the features that make a barn a comfortable, safe environment for people and horses.  Having said all that I should also say that I don't specialize in horse properties or horse people.  I like to think that I specialize in satisfied clients.  Corny perhaps, but I like it.

I think that one of the primary reasons people refer their friends and family to me is I help them feel comfortable and confident during the search and during the purchase or sale process.  I don't do drama.  If issues arise, we deal with them.  If there are problems, we fix them.  My clients know that they can depend on me from the beginning of the buying or selling process through to the very last detail on the very last day.
