Real Estate Agents are a dime a dozen here in Florida.  As a matter of fact it is a joke here that when people move to Florida, more apply for a real estate license rather than a driver's license.

All kidding aside, what makes a Real Estate agent a GREAT agent? Well one can say experience, knowledge, personality.  All that is true. However, as a Real Estate agent- I go a step further.  I am very proactive in assisting my clients in meeting their goals.  When working with buyers that have not been able to find a good match or are looking for a rare property that is not in the multiple listing service, I will go out and sollicit homeowners in neighborhoods that may be looking to sell.  In addition, when I list a property for sale, I DON'T practice the "Three P's".....Put a sign on it, Put it on the internet, and PRAY that it sells.  I go above and beyond what it takes to get a home sold.  Various marketing tools that I use include, flyers to surrounding neighborhoods, emails to other realtors, atttend listing pitching sessions, knock on doors, and use every form of social media to get the property exposed to as many people as possible. Finally, strong negotiation skills are necessary when representing buyers and sellers. It is extremely important to create the "win-win" situation all parties in the transaction deserve.
