Coldwell Banker Realty tracked 2,772 properties, ranging in price from $229,000 to $4.8 million, in eight major U.S. cities.  It found that while the average home was on the market for 31 days, the typical staged home sold in just under 14 days.  The staged homes sold on average for 4.7% more than their unstaged competitors.

Shows like HGTV's "Design to Sell", "Secrets that Sell", and A&E's "Sell this House" are growing in popularity.  Because of shows like these, home staging is becoming well known, especially in large markets like the Twin Cities metro area.  If your home is not staged, most likely another home in your your target market is and will draw attention away from yours.
