I am a rare commodity in this business...and I will tell you why. I have closed hundreds of transactions, year after year. I have watched people come into the business during the refi and purchase booms and make loads of money and then get out when times are bad. I have watched other lenders buy million dollar homes in the good times, to have them foreclosed on in the bad. (What kind of example is that?) But here I sit. I am STILL in the business. I don't make the millions that others do, because I believe that my clients deserve the best deal that I can get them. And by giving them a fair deal, I will get their referral and repeat business. I am in this for the long haul. I also believe in the law. I don't believe in helping people lie to get into their homes. That helps NO ONE (as evidenced by the mortgage market crash).
This is my career, not my job. I love what I do. I feel the excitement of my clients when they find the home of their dreams. I WANT to help people who may not be qualified for a loan today, but with my help, and some effort on their part....they will be. I am loyal to those who are loyal to me. I refer my clients without agents to those whom have kept me in the business. I believe in building a strong relationship with my industry partners ---I know how they do business, they know how I do business. All of this makes for a faster, smoother transaction (and hey, who doesn't want that?).

I have a wide range of experience. I have been "all parts" of the mortgage transaction. Processor, Loan Officer, underwriter, closer, wholesale coordinator, funder, shipper....you name it! I have a great knowledge of the whole loan process. I was the coined the "FHA Queen" for many years- when I was closing 30-50 FHA loans per month- most of which were FHA purchases of new construction. (For those of you who did these, can you say MASSIVE paper work?) I spent many years in the business focusing on investors...and became the expert in that area. But, with all the recent changes in the lending guidelines, most of that lending has all but disappeared. I am still focused on the FHA, Utah Housing (local product), VA, Conventional and Jumbo loans. I LOVE first time homebuyers. There is nothing more rewarding than sitting at the closing table with clients that are closing on their first home. I think I get more excited than they do.....and YES, I ALWAYS come to all of my purchase closings. I believe that a lender should be there to represent and also be there to answer and questions. (It's not the title companies job to explain the loan programs!).
