Some back ground about me...Lived on the Outer Banks for 27 year!    After 12 years of working with Yankee Candle (a major nation-wide scented candle company) as a wholesale regional representative, I decided to come home  Kitty Hawk in 1998 to be with my family full time and enjoy my son Thomas and husband Randy. Leaving a job that I loved for many years was not an easy thing to do but my heart was telling me it was time for a new adventure that I could explore while remaining close to my family!After investing in real estate on the Outer Banks myself for many years myself and knowing how wonderful and rewarding it can be, I thought the natural choice would be helping others invest in real estate like I had.     I love sharing the Outer Banks with people that love it has much as I do. On the Outer Banks "OBX" we are lucky because there are many different styles, price ranges for people to pick from. If you are a first time Buyer or experienced Buyers, we are bond to have the right property for you. The Outer Banks is not a wide Island so every location is close to the Sound or to the Ocean. Let me tell you the different areas of the OBX. Let's start to the North...Corolla, Duck, Sanderlin, these areas are the "newer" part of the OBX and when I say that I mean 20 years old and younger. Larger homes than the typical beach box that many of us stayed in when we were kids. Many are planned communities with amenities, boutiques and great restaurants that can be in walking distance. It is more a vacation area than one for year round living due to shops close in January, February, and March and there are not schools.Than there is the mid-Outer Banks...Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, Manteo. Here you have a mix of Vacation homes and year round homes....shopping and entertainment are year round as well as great schools. You will enjoy Boating, Fishing, Hand Gliding, Parasailing, Jet Skiing and of course enjoying the Beach.And last but not least Hatteras Island...Waves, Salvo, Rodanthe, Avon, Frisco, Buxton, Hatteras Village has a mix of year round and vacation homes but is still very seasonal. If you love to fish, wind surfing, surfing, kayaking and roam the beaches for shells this is the place for you.
